    SLIC 2 - Valuing older people's skills and experience - has started. Find out more about the new project.

  • SLIC wins Lifelong Learning Award

    The SLIC-project won the Lifelong Learning Award in the category "Products and Results" which was awarded from the National Agency for Lifelong Learning on November 29 in Vienna.

  • SLIC-Handbook

    The handbook  is now available in all partner languages. Find out more about the SLIC workshop and tools used.

  • SLIC was awarded a prize

    The Research Insitute of the Austrian Red Cross was awarded a prize for the SLIC-workshop "Orientierungshilfe für freiwillige Mitarbeit" by the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection. Here you can find more information and some pictures of the awards.

Outcomes

Several products were established within the SLIC-project, for example a European report, project leaflets which give a short overview on SLIC as well as a workshop for older people and a workshop handbook.

National overview reports

In the research phase of the SLIC-project each partner compiled a national report. These reports include the relevance of the project for their organisation, short information on the relevant political discussion in the respective countriy, an overviiew of tools to assess informal learning as well as results of consultations with older learners. These reports are available for Austria, England, Finland,  Hungary, Italy and Scotland.

European overview report

The European overview report summarizes the results from the national reports and gives concrete information on how to design a SLIC-workshop.
